    A low cost shading analyzer and site evaluator design to determine solar power system installation area

    Shading analyzer systems are necessary for selecting the most suitable installation site to sustain enough solar power. Afterwards, changes in solar data throughout the year must be evaluated along with the identification of obstructions surrounding the installation site in order to analyze shading effects on productivity of the solar power system. In this study, the shading analysis tools are introduced briefly, and a new and different device is developed and explained to analyze shading effect of the environmental obstruction on the site on which the solar power system will be established. Thus, exposure duration of the PV panels to the sunlight can be measured effectively.     Standardization of Forensic Interview with the Child Victim

    Child abuse which should be considered as a global public health problem, has become increasingly a topical issue due to rapid changes in social life and family structure, migrations. With the child advocacy centers system, which has been organized in our country since 2012, is aimed to manage the forensic and forensic medical evaluation process meticulously with a multidisciplinary approach. There are local differences in the practices of centers located in different provinces. In this study, it is aimed to improve the practice in the field by underlining the main points to be considered during the forensic interview of the cases brought with the claim that they were exposed to sexual abuse. In our study, a standard checklist which will be based on, facilitates the retention of informations that can be obtained through family interviews; it will also serve to improve both the self-regulation of the forensic interviewer and the awareness of the judicial authorities. There are many factors that affecting the operation and efficiency of the PV based electricity generation systems, such as PV cell technology, ambient conditions and selection of required equipment. There is no much study that presents all factors affecting efficiency and operation of the entire PV system, in the literature. This paper provides a detailed review of these factors and also includes suggestions for the design of more efficient systems.     Triage systems are clinical risk management systems used to ensure that patients receive the health services they demand from emergency services correctly and safely. Vital signs obtained from patients in the triage unit are one of the most important factors in diagnosis as well as treatment. Vital signs can be measured accurately and precisely, provided certain procedures are followed.Therefore, these complex procedures introduce a heavy crowd in the triage unit. This problem in triage makes it difficult for patients to reach the treatment service they demand. Also, it has a negative influence on hospital staff duringfulfill their duties and reduces their productivity.To prevent these disruptions, it is necessary to develop the novel methodologies that improve the triage system. In this study, we designed a triage system that measures the vital signs simultaneously, consisting of body temperature, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure of the patient applying for triage and transfer data to the digital environment with a barcode system.     Asymmetric transmission of linearly polarized electromagnetic waves using chiral metamaterials with constant chirality over a certain frequency band

    In this study, a dynamic chiral metamaterial (MTM) structure leading to an asymmetric electromagnetic (EM) wave transmission for linear polarization is presented. The structure is composed of square-shaped resonator with gaps on both sides of a dielectric substrate with a certain degree of rotation. The dynamic structure is adjustable via various parameters to fit any desired frequency ranges. Theoretical and experimental analysis of the proposed structure are conducted and given in detail.     Doğum sırasındaki fizyolojik değişimlerle kapanması öngörülen foramen ovale erişkin populasyonun yaklaşık %75’inde tamamen kapanmış olarak izlenirken, %25’inde ise kapanmaz ve patent foramen ovale (PFO) olarak varlığını sürdürür.1 PFO, serebrovasküler olay dahil birçok patoloji (auralı migren, dalgıçlarda dekompresyon hastalığı vs.) ile ilişkilendirilmiştir. İskemik inmelerin %25’inde standart tanısal değerlendirmeye rağmen bir neden bulunamaz ve bu grup kriptojenik inme olarak adlandırılır. PFO ve kriptojenik inme arasındaki patofizyolojik ilişki paradoksal embolizm, PFO içerisinde meydana gelen trombüs, sol atriyal disfonksiyon ve atriyal aritmiler gibi nedenlere bağlı olabilir. Epidemiyolik veriler ve klinik gözlemsel çalışmalar, PFO kapatılmasıyla inme rekürrenslerinin azaldığını gösteren randomize kontrollü çalışmalar tarafından kuvvetle desteklenmektedir.2 PFO’nun tanısında ve perkütan tedavisinde çoklu görüntüleme yöntemleri önem arz etmektedir
